I will publish all valid comments, whether or not the poster agrees with or likes my content. In other words it’s totally cool to oppose my views, or even to flame away if desired.

Also, as an entrepreneur I’m cool with folks using my blog to build links back to their blogs and sites. I use dofollow software so your links will be indexed by Google and other search engines. Just be sure to add a genuine comment of some sort along with your link!

Any blatant spam will be deleted, i.e. “nice blog, come visit my porn site” style comments won’t make the cut.

Also any abuse or flaming directed at other commentors will be dumped. It’s cool to hurl insults at me if you like, but I won’t tolerate any attacks on my other readers.

LAST WORD PRACTICE:

I will often allow commenters to have the “last word”. This means I won’t go out of my way to win an argument, prove a point, etc. My articles and editorials clearly express my opinions and beliefs, and I don’t feel a deep need to defend myself on these issues.

I enjoy a rousing debate from time to time, just be aware that I may opt not to respond to a reader’s counterpoint, thus allowing them to enjoy the “final say”.
