There are two essential contributions required for the orchestration of political tyranny: A steady stream of propaganda and fear-mongering from those who seek disproportionate control of a nation, and an abundance of stupidity and ignorance provided by those who need to be controlled.
Both sides of the coin are at play within any serious discussion of ID Shock bracelets for U.S. airline passengers.
While reading up on the latest naked body scanning technology airports are implementing to “stop terrorism” I came across an even more astounding topic: DHS has actually expressed interest in shock bracelets for U.S. air travelers, and the mainstream media is promoting the idea as if it were both sensible and desirable.
Benefits highlighted by DHS and the marketing videos that promote the bracelet technology include:
- ease of checkpoint passage
- immediate access to location of passengers and their family members
- streamlined baggage claim
- and last but not least… a fine solution for disabling terrorists!
Just so we’re clear: You’d be fitted with your cool ID bracelet upon arrival, use it to board your plane and track your luggage, and should you be categorized as a “threat”, authorized personnel would be able to shock the piss out of you with the press of a button.
It’s worth pointing out that several hundred people have died in recent years as the result of taser shocks. This kind of high-tech shock solution is no small matter. How would you feel about your child wearing such a device, especially in view of the fact that police in multiple states have recently used taser guns on minors?
Here are a couple of You Tube video links that cover the exact story:
Fox News Segment On Shocker Bracelets
COME ON NOW FOLKS – THIS IS GETTING OUT OF HAND.
I respect the right of my readers to any political and social opinions, but I REALLY hope you can see the blatant manipulation and sinister intent behind the majority of the “domestic security” measures emerging over the past decade.
I’m not suggesting every DHS, TSA, or FEMA employee is wicked or harbors malicious intent – of course not. Many of these people want to serve their country and the public. Others are sadistic bullies. Still others are just punching a clock to put food on the table. A small number of administrators are hip to the game of mass manipulation and control, and unfortunately these policy makers are signing the checks and giving the orders.
I’ll be adding an in-depth article on the Homeland Security fraud very soon, but for the time being I’ll just point out a few key points.
- OBVIOUSLY we all want to be safe from legitimate threats of violence from militant attackers.
- However the vast majority of “anti-terror” laws and policies are focusing on US, as in you and I.
- Very few genuine security strategies are coming forth, while new civil rights violations abound.
This will become obvious if you’ll just do a bit of research. I’m not anti-American, and I’m not selling the idea that George Bush is an alien. All I’m saying is, when you take an informed, analytical position on most of what DHS does it quickly becomes obvious this outfit is the modern American equivalent to Hilter’s Gestapo.
Crazy stuff? Not if you scrutinize the actions and rhetoric of Hitler as he installed the Nazi police state and then compare this effort to post September 11 America.
Hitler in fact, when explaining the dire need to require papers and round up dissidents, said the following…
“An evil exists the threatens every man, woman, and child of this great nation. We must take steps to ensure our domestic security and protect our homeland.”
Sound anything at all like what Ashcroft, Bush, Cheney, Rice, et al spewed in September 2001, and what many other politicians have reminded us of ever since when some new draconian policy becomes “necessary”?
I’m not talking about two-party politics here. I’m not Bush-bashing. What I am doing is being clear-headed in the interest of civil liberties and Constitutional freedoms.
Using fear as a means for convincing the populace to give up their freedom in exchange for perceived safety is a time-tested and proven stepping stone toward totalitarian control.
As my own ancestor and founding father of this nation, Ben Franklin said…
“They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.”
Are Americans so driven by fear that we’d actually be willing to wear a bracelet that identifies, tracks, and even shocks us if we are deemed problematic by authority figures? Say it ain’t so.
The mainstream media paints a picture of the average American as being utterly meek, incapable of independent thought, and too stricken by fluoridated water to object to any amount of abuse. Frankly I doubt this is an accurate depiction of the true majority in the U.S.
Regardless of what most of us think about wearing shock bracelets or having our naked bodies checked out by TSA employees, the previous and current administration (at time of posting) didn’t and don’t seem to care. Elements within the establishment are clearly intent on pushing their agenda through despite the abject and rampant objections of the people.
The bottom line is simple enough: Will you wear one of these shocker bracelets, or accept a tracking chip, or register for your national ID card, etc. when the time comes?
Whether you agree with my views, suspect I’ve been drinking, or think I should be hanged for treason, I’d really appreciate your input and comments. Also remember that politics and society is just one of many topics I cover here, so you can always just tune out and look for my articles on other stuff it you’d like. ;o)
